Today, along with our Past Mayor Glyn Evans, I visited the Mind Torfaen and Blaenau Gwent branch located at the Phoenix Centre in Brynmawr. Glyn was Mayor for part of the 2023-24 Year of Office and Mind was selected has the recipient of his Mayor's Appeal, which I continued to support when I stepped in as the replacement Mayor during that year.  The 2023-24 Mayor's Appeal total was £1870.06 and it was a pleasure to make this presentation today, we received a warm welcome from Alan Goodwin and it was great to get an understanding of the work they do for our community.

Alan Goodwin has said "a very big thank you..........As a local Mind, I can assure you that the donation will be used to support vulnerable people in the Blaenau Gwent Community."
