2167 Tredegar and Rhymney Squadron Air Cadets organised a Memorial Parade to commemorate the Battle of Britain. The parade marched from the Memorial Park Gates, through Bedwellty Park, to the War Memorial and I was honoured to be asked, with other guests, to take the salute as the Parade passed Bedwellty House. Well done to everyone, the rain meant we were all soaked but it did not dampen the cadets spirits. A video of the Parade can be found on Instagram @2167tredagartyphoons .
