Tredegar Quiz Wizards, Thursday 7th November 2013

It's time once again to dust off those mental cobwebs and test the old brain box power. Tredegar Quiz Wizards is back and about to start to find the champions for this year. The quiz is sponsored by Tredegar Town Council and is open to all teams from all areas; from pubs, clubs, factories, organisations or just a group of friends. A team will consist of a maximum of six members. The two winning teams each week will progress to the final at which the winning team and runners up will receive a cash prize. The winning team will also receive a trophy. No individual questions are asked, all answers will be given as a team. Questions include all popular subjects plus a picture round and a music round. If you don't qualify on the first week, no problem just come along the next week and try again or on any of the remaining nights. Each team will pay an entry fee of one pound per person which, along with all monies collected, will on finals night be donated to the Tredegar Town Mayor's Appeal. This year the Town Mayor Councillor Tom Smith  has chosen Valleys Life After Stroke as his nominated appeal charity. If Tredegar Town Council has supported you or your organisation this is an ideal way to reciprocate, by joining in the quiz night fun and at the same time supporting a worthy cause.
